Experienced in hosting diverse events and implementing effective social media marketing strategies for various brands.

Hi, I’m Cami!

I’m a media professional, host, and storyteller based in New York, currently serving as the Director of Community at the Center for Communication. I lead the strategy behind high-impact forums and summits that connect the next generation of talent with leaders across media, marketing, and communications—and I’m often the one on stage bringing those conversations to life.

I’m also the creator and host of Make It in Media, a podcast I conceived and launched to extend access to industry insights beyond live events, while giving fellows hands-on experience in storytelling, content production, and digital media.

Before this, I served as Chief Operating Officer at Avenues Real Estate, where I helped scale operations and expand the company’s digital presence. My experience also includes working with organizations like Ogilvy, Johnson & Johnson, UXPros, and more—building brands, shaping narratives, and creating content that connects.

I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Strategic Communications at Columbia University (Executive cohort), continuing to grow at the intersection of media, leadership, and cultural impact.

At the core of everything I do is a passion for storytelling that informs, uplifts, and connects. As a bilingual communicator in English and Spanish, I bring authenticity, energy, and cultural awareness to every space I step into.

If you’re creating something meaningful, telling stories that matter, or building a space for conversation—I’d love to connect.
